The kind of thing only I would geek out about:
I got a mail in my boardgamegeek.com inbox. It was from noted game designer
Bruno Faidutti. He's writing an article on the history of Clue and wanted a scan of the Miss Scarlett card from my clue set because it has the same graphics as the original 1960's version (my collection of games included this one, which is how he knew I had the game). So
I put it on my server for him, and he downloaded it. Yay! I did something nice for Bruno Faidutti! Faidutti Faidutti Faidutti! One of the games I bought in Germany was
Diamant, which he co-designed.
