On Girl Butts
Jun. 28th, 2007 02:08 pmIt's a well known fact that I like girl butts (it's even one of my LJ interests, I think). Butts are awesome. I *heart* a good butt. That's my point. But today I was watching some old videos from my formative years (the late 80's) and I have come up with two music videos (both from 1990) that I think are responsible for my butt love (heh heh... I said "butt love"). Neither of them are Sir Mix-a-Lot, you'll notice.
First is Young MC's Bust a Move video. Specifically (if you watch it), the pin-up-pretty girl that you see in the Delicious Vinyl shirt in the beginning and the stop-sign-on-the-butt-cheeks shorts throughout (especially at the end). Incidentally, this video is also responsible for my ridiculously-oversized-yellow-bow fetish. Anyway, I remember watching this video (I stayed up for HOURS to record it on VHS) and thinking how nice that butt was, and that the stop signs were made for running.
The other video that influenced my love of butts is LL Cool J's Around the Way Girl. In this one, there's a (white) girl in overall shorts (overalls are another weird fetish I have) with one strap undone throughout most of the video. But it's the last thirty seconds where there's a slooooooow back-arched swinging of the booty that really got to me. (In other words, when she turned around and stuck it out, this white boy had to shout!) This was the first time I can remember thinking naughty naughty NAUGHTY things about what I wanted to do to her butt.
And that's how I fell in love with girl butts, proving again the old adage "The way to a man's heart is through a girls bum". And now I have a girl butt all the time, and she doesn't mind that I love it (as long as I don't LOVE it).
