Oct. 21st, 2005 10:19 pmLong day, leaving my apartment for the airport at 6am and getting back home around 8:30pm. I solved the customer's problem by trying something that I was sure wouldn't work. It seems to go that way a lot. But I got to crawl around on the floor doing stuff on the machine, and that's always cool.
Yay Red Wings! They're playing well so far, though not as well in some aspects as I'd like. They still try to get fancy too often when they should just shoot the puck. Legace is playing very good in net, and I'd like to see Osgood on the bench a lot this season, although right now I'd like to see him in the net since Manny probably would like a game off. The ads during the Red Wings broadcasts make me happy; the ones where Stevie is saying "I'll win more faceoffs" and Lidstrom says "I'll own the blue line", etc... The end where Maltby and Draper skate up and say "we missed you, too." makes me want to hug my TV.
Next week I'll post a list of my 10 favorite things about hockey.
