Well, more good news. It now looks like Pavel Datsyuk, argubly the Red Wings best player and certainly an important part of their future, will play for the Red Wings after all. He signed with a Russian club (Avangard Omsk) but it appears that he can leave after all, and the Red Wings GM thinks that he will. So that's a good thing.
