Fifteen Word Movie Reviews by JoeyHemlock
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Let's get this in right off the bat: Jim Carrey is not my idea of a dramatic actor. Oh, he's great in his screwball comedies, but not so much in the dramas. He was reasonable in The Truman Show, was doing nothing other than an good impression in Man on the Moon, and was just cheesy in The Majestic. Keep that in mind when you read this: He was fricking GREAT in this film. I was really impressed. And, of course, the movie was penned by the best writer in Hollywood, Charlie Kauffman (Being John Malkovich, Adaptation) and showed a lot of the brilliance that I saw in Malkovich. Kate Winslet was also adorable and totally renewed my crush on her. I absolutely adored this movie. And, by the way, in Kaufman's alternate universe that he apparently lives in, this review is only fifteen words long. Four Stars out of four.
Edited to add: Wait, Sarah Polley is in Dawn of the Dead? Hmm, now I kinda want to go see it.

Also, I'm fairly broke. I thought I was doing well, but it turns out... oops. I must be prudent in my monetary layout for a while.
Edited to add: Also, those of you in NYC should go see The Ghettobillies this Saturday the 27th. Their website has the details of the show.
