Long time no talk...

Hi. How are you? I am fine. I had a good weekend. On Friday night I went to a lovely restaurant called Bin 36 and had some tasty duck and a lot of wine. It's a good restaurant; they have a lot of good wines and pair all of their dinners with appropriate wines. My, er, the girl I'm dating and I had a pretty nice glass of white wine with our crab and shrimp fondue appetizer (neither of us are particular fans of white wine), and then shared the "Sexy Reds" flight (which featured a particularly nice Zinfindel) with dinner. She had the horseradish-crusted halibut, and I had the Duck Two Ways. It was a great night. And thanks to the advantage of my MemberCard™, which I got for being a $10/month member of my local public radio station, I got one of the entrees free, taking the bill from $100 to $72. We will be eating at a lot of places and taking advantage of that two-for-one offer.

I like having a girl that I'm seeing. On Saturday she was at a friend's house for a housewarming, and when she was done, she decided that she wanted to come snuggle with me. So she called me (at 1:30am; I was up) and she came over. It was nice. :)

In three weeks (Easter weekend), we're taking a road trip to Detroit. Chris/Ruth, you're expected to join us at The Nile on Friday the 9th. Others are welcome to join us as well, though there's no need to make a big deal out of this. I wanted to take her to The Lion King as well, but it appears to be sold out.
