TOMORROW IS PRIMARY ELECTION DAY IN ILLINOIS! If you live in Illinois, make sure you vote! If you live in Chicago, make sure you vote at LEAST once. JoeyHemlock endorses Barack Obama for Democratic Senatorial Candidate because he's well experienced and seems to be a good man with a good head on his shoulders. He seems like one of those guys who can actually make a (positive) difference. I also endorse John Kerry for Democratic Presidential Candidate because, well, because he's the only one going (realistically). But to be honest, I really want him to appoint Al Sharpton as his White House Spokesperson when he wins the general election over the forces of evil.

Hey New Yorkers! My favorite Chicago band, The Ghettobillies, is going to be in NYC on March 27th and I think you should go see them. They're a rocking band that I personally guarantee will make your buttocks wiggle. They'll be at Desmond's Tavern on Park Avenue between 29th and 30th. Seriously, go see them.

Stupid fucking politicians (stolen from catelin).

The Congressional Accountability for Judicial Activism Act - A bill introduced to congress that would give congress the ability to override a Supreme Court ruling. Because of those awful, nasty, evil "activist judges" (read: liberal judges) who DARE to disagree the moral codes that the right-wing has determined that we should all live by.

This is one of the stupidest, not to mention Anti-American, things I have heard of recently, and another reason for me to loathe the Republican party. Yes, I'm well aware that only 11 members of the party introduced the bill, but it's typical of the party's moral dictation that they're trying to force on us lately.
