Last Night.
Mar. 12th, 2004 11:39 amHello, my little monkeys. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that this Sunday on Animal Planet at 7ET, It will be the battle for King of the River: Crocs vs. Hippos. As we know, Hippopotamuses rule. And I am SURE there will be some baaaaaby hippos for us to view. TUNE IN OR DIE.
Last night, our local Marriott properties hosted a VIP reception for their best customers at the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort. My friend Karen is a good customer, so she invited me. Clare, my... er, the girl I'm seeing, works for Marriott, so she was there, too. Yay. :)
Guess who else works for Marriott?! Stabby McForkinEye. So I saw her, too. It's REALLY weird having a, er, girl you're seeing being really good friends with a girl that you've admitted having a huge crush on. Of course, it's really weird having a, er, girl I'm seeing. Anyway, Stabby invited us to meet her for drinks somewhere tonight, but I think I'm going to keep Clare for myself tonight.
Also last night, I got to play with a monkey. For some reason at the event, they hired a guy with a monkey. He was cute (the monkey, not the guy). He was 32 years old! That's older than me. It was from the sebus family, called a cinnamon ringtail. In the wild, they live to 15 years, in captivity they normally live 25-30 years, so he was old. But he was fun. My friend Karen CRIED because she was so happy that she got to hold him.
They also provided us with tickets to West Side Story. A good, but not great, production. The girl playing Anita will be my next, er, girl I'm seeing.
