Ask me your own question.

[livejournal.com profile] blanx73: No iPod?!? That life is not worth living! But seriously: Gordon by Barenaked Ladies, Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars by Edie Brickell, Exile in Guyville by Liz Phair, Chocolate and Cheese by Ween, and any Ravel CD that has Bolero and Pavane for a Dead Princess.

[livejournal.com profile] lucyshoe: Huh? What did you see about me? Are people slagging on me behind my back?

[livejournal.com profile] tibstanglewood: Here's some irony for you: I don't hold marriage as "sacred". Not to say I would get married to anyone right off the bat, but I don't necessarily need to wait months and months either. You'd think I'd be a threat to the establishment of marriage, but since i want to marry a girl, it's all good. So, I'd marry any girl who I adored who adored me back, as long she promised to make an effort and not give up on it, and if I could make the promise and mean it. I wouldn't want to have kids, though, until I was pretty sure that it was a good long-lasting match. That said, there are quite a few people on my friends list who I'd marry tomorrow (if I didn't have to pack): [livejournal.com profile] juniper200, [livejournal.com profile] edwardina, [livejournal.com profile] eight_fifteen... Probably others. There would have to be some serious deep-felt conversations before I committed to it, but I think I would. There are others, too, but I am not going to embarass them by naming them. I think/hope the three I did mention aren't overly embarassed.

[livejournal.com profile] maxoverride: Hmm... [livejournal.com profile] zette. [livejournal.com profile] gundy. [livejournal.com profile] metrochic. [livejournal.com profile] tibstanglewood. [livejournal.com profile] katiekilldare.

[livejournal.com profile] xjetgirlx: I don't hold it against you. Or I try not to. Sometimes I get all worked up, but intellectually I defend your right to believe whatever you think is right, even if it's totally not what I think. Emotionally, I don't always act so level-headed.

[livejournal.com profile] amsjb: Yes, I got your e-mail. That sucks, but I totally understand.

[livejournal.com profile] burnmeup: The frustrating part is when I realize that there's no sign of this job getting any better.

[livejournal.com profile] eight_fifteen: I don't really have a SECRET dreams or wishes. I just want to be happy and have a family and raise my children to be good people.

[livejournal.com profile] beavertails: I just keep my ears open. Neko Case I found because I sorta knew a guy who played bass with her. So I listened to a couple of her songs online, downloaded a few, and liked her. The Moldy Peaches I heard on an NPR show. My latest favorite, Trailer Bride, I heard when they opened for Neko at a recent concert. Eels I heard first on a Borders listening station. Same with Diana Krall. Sumack was recommended to me by [livejournal.com profile] nymysys, who had it recommended to her by [livejournal.com profile] anamorphic. [livejournal.com profile] vfc got me started on MC Paul Barman... So, like I said, I just listen to a lot of stuff.

[livejournal.com profile] nymysys: I DO miss you. I'll visit you not-soon-enough. I'm out of vacation time for the year, unfortunately, so it'll be in 2004.

[livejournal.com profile] drainbead: The worst thing about myself, hands down, is my self-image. I try to improve it, but I haven't had a lot of luck. It's hard and I'm constantly finding things to get down on myself about. And then, sometimes, out-of-the-blue, someone else will come along and knock me down a notch.

[livejournal.com profile] wbrook: With a dirty girl who has devious ways of keeping me excited, I have a pretty quick turn around time. I'm confident I could do 8-10 times before the equipment just gave out on me. I could be wrong, though. Never been endurance-tested.

[livejournal.com profile] lucyshoe: Nope, i don't read that community, but I just went and checked it out. It's okay that you told me. Probably for the best. I don't like being annoying. It made me sad, but your original comment makes me feel better about it. Thanks.

[livejournal.com profile] glenn5: I do like him. I haven't seen Hotel, but I liked Time Code well enough as an experiment. I guess I wasn't expecting it to have a great story, so I wasn't too disappointed when it didn't. It was an interesting exercise and I liked seeing a different technique. So I image I'll think Hotel is pretty decent, too. I really liked Miss Julie, but a lot of that was due to the intensity of that acting by Peter Mullins and Saffron Burrows. The first Figgis movie I saw was The Loss of Sexual Innocence, which was... weird. But interesting. So, yeah, I like Mike Figgis. I like Mike Leigh more, though.

Odd.
