Stuff and Things

So, how is everyone today? I'm okay. My boss is gone in the AM and I have a meeting at our other facility in the PM. So that's good. And it'll be a short day because I'll just go home after my meeting instead of coming all the way back here for 30 minutes. AND I'll get to stop at my favorite deli for lunch and have a yummy corned beef sammich and sweet-and-sour cole slaw. Yay for all that shit!

Reading: Still going on Lolita. I'm 75 pages in, farther than I made it my first two attempts, and I show no signs of slowing. Yay for that! When I get home early today, I shall read some more. That will be good. Unless I get home in time to AIM with my favorite AIMer.

Speaking of AIM, I had a brilliant conversation with eight_fifteen last night. It was a lot of fun. I talked too much. I learned something that makes her blush. Yay!

Perhaps tomorrow I shall go see X2 before I head down to see Tributosaurus sing Marvin Gaye. I haven't been to see a mega-plex movie in quite some time.

What did he say? He said "Ghost Dog". I thought it was obvious. The trouble is that I come up with too many clever answers for my poll and then no one picks the making-out-with-me answer. Or, in this case, the Ghost Dog answer which is like making out only with less tongue. Mmmmm, tongue.

I don't like it when people pronounce "milk' as "malk" (not to be confused with Malkavia) almost as much as I hate "warsh" instead of wash.

I like Jeff Freling. I'm going to burn a few copies for people. Who likes Weezer? It's similar to that. I'll send Jessity and Sapphy a copy, I think, and maybe a couple of others.

Speaking of Sapphy, I should call her. I haven't talked to her in ages. I have to find out her schedule so I can call her from ChiDope (HINT HINT).

Oh, and Ben & Jerry's Brownie Batter ice cream is really good. I could have used more of the batter swirl, though.
