It was a good story but a bit heavy-handed and emotionally manipulative at times. Good movie, not a great movie. Joey gives Antwone Fischer three stars out of four and recommends it if you're looking for a made-for-Oscar movie.
25th Hour - A Spike Lee joint. This movie is a good story about a man on his last night before being sent to jail. It's also something of a love letter to NYC. Lots of Sept. 11th references, very well done. Lots of interesting camera angles and shot choices, and a couple of GREAT scenes (like the mirror scene early in the film, which

If I gave ratings by the quarter-star, then this would be a 3.75, but I don't, so Joey gives 25th Hour three-and-a-half stars out of four and recommends it highly. It might very well make my top twenty, though definately not the top five.
