My plan for Nov. 6th

I shall spend the rest of the day listening to Isreal Kamamawiwo'ole's Over the Rainbow/Wonderful World and Ingrid Lucia's Lucky Girl, both of which you should download. Except that you won't be able to find Ingrid on any file sharing services because I imagine only about 10 people have the CD, of which I am one. But I'll be happy to e-mail it to anyone who asks nicely. Or the other song for that matter. Both are soft and quiet and sweet sounding.

Edit: And I may also listen to Antifolk Vol. 1 CD because I just got it from Amazon. Interestingly, they sent me an extra jewel case because the original one is cracked. That's kinda thoughtful.

Adventures in Bokononism

David Cross has a comedy 2-CD set in stores now. Why did no one tell me? Stoppin' by Borders on my way home. I also have to buy kakhi kahki khaki kakee tan pants, too, for the motherfucking trade show tomorrow.

Also, something that struck me, from Cat's Cradle: "Sometimes I wonder if he wasn't born dead. I never met a man who was less interested in living. Sometimes I think that's the trouble with the world: too many people in high places who are stone-cold dead." FWIW, I've read about 1/3 of that book since last night. I'm enjoy it a lot. And it's an easy read.
