Everything is better in list form.

These are not random facts, these are just things on my mind to update anyone who happens to care.

Ten things I'm thinking about

1. Tonya's living with me for a couple of weeks until it's time to go back to LA. There's girl stuff in my apartment. I'm happy to have her around, even though all she does is eat my food and hog my computer. I made her queso fundido for dinner last night, and she was suitably happy about it. She also finished off the first pint of the yummy Ben and Jerry's that I bought for her. She was kind enough to let me have a spoonful of it, though. I still have to make tequila-lime shrimp scami for her, but I guess that will have to wait until next week. She's going away this weekend (since on the weekend I would actually have all day to spend with her).
   
2. The rest of my life is going okay. I'm not doing as well with my diet as I had been, which sucks. No big deal, I guess. I'll just get back on track. i managed to resist the Coca-Cola that I REALLY wanted this morning, so that's saying something. And I'll have some sort of salad (undoubtedly an Oriental Chicken salad) for lunch and I'll stick to water to drink. Maybe a banana for a snack.
   
3. One of my co-workers gave me a paper about a diet. The New Mayo Clinic diet, which is a no-carb diet that promises 52 pound weight loss in 2.5 months. And it's got bacon in it. Anyone have any experiences? I'm wary of these low-carb diets because I really really really love bread. Potatoes, too.
   
4. One of the downsides to listening to Tenacious D is the habit of saying "fuck my ass" when frustrated. You should remember not to say that around just anyone.
   
5. I thought I was awake, but I'm finding out that I'm actually sleepy and a little grumpy. I need a nap.
   
6. I bought The Big Lebowski and Office Space on dvd last night.
   
7. Ever since I've had a girl move in with me, I've been kinda lonely. Seems odd.
   
8. The Red Wings start their series against the Blues tonight. I hope they play well.,
   
9. I miss talking to racergirl on a regular basis. We used to talk all the time. I should call her tonight.
   
10. I haven't seen any movies lately. I'm way behind. Perhaps I'll use this weekend's alone time as an opportunity to see some. Then again, maybe I won't.
