(no subject)

There are a few things that I really want to talk about because they've been weighing heavily on my mind for a few days. Among these topics are my thoughts on moving to Chicago (meaning into the city of Chicago, not the 'burbs) or another city, my thoughts on being "the good kid" throughout my life and whether or not this is a good thing, and my weird relationship with Tonya (and why I love her). I'm not sure I can do the one on Tonya since she reads the journal. I dunno, we'll see.

However, it's two-fucking-o'clock in the morning and I need to go to bed. Please twist my arm for entries on these topics in the next day or two.

(no subject)

I have updated my interests so that one of you can be happier.

My new friend who doesn't even know it.

I added a new friend (vfc) to my friends list. We'll see how long it takes her to notice. I picked her out because she was high on my list of people with matching interests (which is a really cool freaking feature of LiveJournal; thanks hamadryad!) She's from Chicago, she's 15 days younger than me, and she lists Tenacious D, Six Feet Under, and ponytails in her interests. Could I ask for more?

I already have two "random friends" in snugglebug (who I found) and ahembree (who found me), both of whom have journals that I enjoy and who love me uncondtionally, as everyone really should.

I feel like a stalker.

On moving to the big city

So I had a fabulous weekend. Much of this was due to the large amount of time I spent with my surrogate girlfriend nymysys, whom I love dearly, but that's another entry. The other large factor in my great weekend was the fun stuff that I did. And so begins our dissertation.
