May. 28th, 2013 01:50 pmI officially became a Life Master in bridge. Y'all already knew that because you read facebook. The best analog I have heard is that it is like getting a black belt; it denotes a level of competence but certainly doesn't indicate that you're the best around or that nothing's ever going to keep you down. I've only once had to sweep the leg in a bridge tournament.
Anyway, that's also the first thing I've ever ticked off of my very short bucket list. I also have visiting every state (I'm missing VT, NM, AZ, and AK) and doing a painting in the Bob Ross style, which I tried once and abandoned. I think I'll try again this summer. I know my sister would love a painting as a Christmas gift if I could get something that I was at least moderately happy with.
I'm going to join Netflix tonight, I think, for the Arrested Development.
Other than that, it's all status quo and shit.
