For Christmas, The Q got me an iPod (with an assist by my sister and my boss), a travel telescope, and some awesome BuckyBalls. This fall I was walking Booford down an alley when a guy carrying a telescope asked if I wanted to see Jupiter, which of course I did. It was really neat. So Susan did some research and got me a good beginner's telescope.

I got her a new HDTV for her den/sick bay (only 26", but I had to argue and fuss to get anything bigger than a 19"), a Kindle that she lovesloveslovesloves, and some gloves that you can use with touchscreen devices.

For dinner I made a nice standing rib roast with Yorkshire puddings that rose beautifully and a very tasty jus. Collard greens and squash finished off the meal.

In summary, yay Christmas!
