I just watched the first episode (well, double episode) of NBC's Kings and I liked it a bunch. This is undoubtedly due in no small part to the fact that Ian McShane (Al Swearengen in Deadwood) stars in it, and I think he's brilliant.
I think the show would be a hit if it was on HBO or Showtime, but I don't think it'll survive on NBC. Shame, that.
