It doesn't take much.
Feb. 6th, 2009 01:43 pmI have a solitare game on my iPod Touch called Solitare City. I had it on my PC in the mid-90's, to. I remember sending a check to register it and everything. Anyway, the iPod implementation is great and well worth it.
One of the features is a world score table. So anyone who plays it (and there must be hundreds of thousands) can submit their scores and see how they're doing in the world rankings. It was awesome to get on the daily top 50 the first time. I've found that this pales in comparison to making the all-time world top 50 at #48 (also 3rd best today, 14th best this week). It's playing two-suit spider solitare, if you care.
Anyway, I know it won't stick around for long, but it was neat while it was there.
(And Susan, before you roll your eyes at me, how many times did you do that one puzzle on JigZone just so you could have the all-time quickest solve time for it? A few hundred times? :)
