Nov. 25th, 2008 01:06 pmI love Rock Band 2. Here are a few nuggets of information on why:
Instrument: Bass, on Hard level. Someday I may get to Expert level, but Hard is good for now.
Only song I've aced on hard: E-Pro by Beck.
Songs that I can now say I like a lot that I know primarily because of Rock Band:
Pretend That We're Dead by L7
I was Wrong by Social Distortion
Where'd You Go? by Mighty Mighty Bosstones
De-Luxe by Lush
Ace if Spades '08 by Motorhead
ROUND AND ROUND BY RATT
Favorite songs to play bass on:
Where'd You Go? by MM Bosstones
Ladybug by Presidents of the USA
Cool for Cats by Squeeze (though I can't ever do well at it)
I'll know I'm pretty good when:
I get five stars on Bodhisttatva by Steely Dan (on hard bass, of course)
I'm almost sorry to admit:
Aqualung by Jethro Tull? Not that bad of a song.
I'm happy to admit:
Rush? They still suck. Specifically The Trees which is nerdy even by my standards. Seriously, five-four time?
Song I think would kick ass as a Rock Band track:
What I Am by Edie Brickell and New Bohemians
