BGG.CON day one.
Nov. 21st, 2008 02:21 amDay one of the boardgame convention has come to an end, and I had a lot of fun. Last year I hardly knew anyone, but this year a few Chicago friends have showed up, plus a couple of other gaming friends that I meet from time to time. It's a lot of fun; just hours and hours of games.
And it turns out that
jessicala knows the designer of a game that we play all the time around Chez BetaHemlock, Time's Up! That's pretty cool.
Games played today for the first time are Vitrail, Code 777, Zack & Pack, Ghost Stories, and Municipium. Games played that I've played before are Ubongo Extrem and Palastgefluster.
I've only purchased one game here so far: Dominion, although I'll likely be picking up the aforementioned Ghost Stories tomorrow, because I think Q/Pants/Paul will like it a lot. It's cooperative, and we go for cooperative games big time.
So that's the day one run down. Yay and stuff.
