Weird sources for music
Jun. 20th, 2008 12:24 pmI love Supertramp's Goodbye Stranger (Don't bother watching the video, which is nothing but words. I linked it for the song). And if Michael Scott hadn't spoofed it in the season finale of The Office, I probably wouldn't even know it outside of a note or two.
I find music that I like in the strangest places. Last week I was watching a, well, shall we say, an "adult selection" online and I got distracted by the song. I was skipping back over and over to try to hear the lyrics better. The music distracted me from the adult content. That's just not right. Eventually, though, I found the song, and I do indeed like it. It's The Black Keys' Girl is on My Mind, if you're wondering. You can listen to it here.
Edited to Add: Oh, and my trip to California got canceled late last night. Yay for NOT 19 hour days!
