I got my car back! The grand total is $1155. They replaced the battery, the computer, the ignition switch, the alternator and a tire. They charged me for about 5.5 hours of labor when they put in a heck of a lot more than that. So all in all, I'm not too upset. They didn't fix the A/C, but the season is almost over anyway.
Just in time with the repair, because I have to drive to Crawfordville IN tomorrow morning.
So, then, how are you? I'm going to start a fund-raising drive for a new car. If all of my LJ friends just PayPal me $1 a day for a year, I could get a kick ass car. And what do you get out of it? You get to learn that paying someone $1 a day so that they can get a new car is dumb. It's an important life lesson that's best learned the hard way.
