Q and I just went to the newsstand down the street and got what might be the most eclectic collection of eight magazines ever*:
We start with Ok! Weekly and Vogue, which are pretty standard girl mags to start us off. This get a little out of the ordinary with an issue of Geek Monthly for me. With an issue of Dirty Found, things continue their slide into weirdness. But we need a cooking magazine, and for that we chose Cook's Country (by the publishers of Cook's Illustrated, my favorite cooking magazine). We go way off of the map with Chicago Wilderness magazine, and WAY off the map with Gothic Beauty Magazine, because Q wanted to laugh at the goth girls. We end up our collection with a German Gossipy-looking Newspaper called Neue Post to see if it helps with my German learning, which it probably won't.
*I'm sure someone COULD come up with eight weirder magazines, but I bet not many do.
