So, I love my Bose noise-canceling headphones. And now they're broken. The earphone part has, in the past, popped out from the headstrap part. A simple screwdriver fix is all that's required. But now the little clip that holds it down is broken, essentially rendering them useless. So I need new headphones. Currently looking at the Shure E3C or E4C, which aren't noise canceling, but are in-the-ear which isolates the noise pretty well. The problem I've had in the past with these types of earphones is the comfort factor. But at half of the price of a new pair of Bose, it's worth a try.
You would THINK that broken headphones would be the worst news of the day, but you'd be wrong.
Now it appears that my beloved iPod has bitten the dust. It sounds like the hard drive went out, because I hear loud clacking and clicking sounds when I plug it in. THIS IS NOT GOOD. And now I'm screwed. I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't know how to live an iPod-free life.
