I have the preview for the NHL Center Ice package, so I got to see the Red Wings play today. They played pretty well and won 6-3, with five of the goals coming on the power play. They're playing good so far with a 3-0 record. They have some talent and should have a decent season, though I don't know if they can win the division as they have so often recently.

So I've decided to tell you my favorite five and least favorite three teams in each of the sports:

Favorite National Hockey League Teams:

1. Detroit Red Wings - #1 with a bullet. It's the only team in any sport that I really really love.
2. Chicago Blackhawks - An odd choice, but they're the local team.
3. Edmonton Oilers - I've liked them for quite some time. I love the colors on their sweaters.
4. Boston Bruins
5. Toronto Maple Leafs

Least Favorite National Hockey League Teams:

1. Colorado Avalanche - When Detroit's your favorite, chances are Colorado's your least favorite.
2. Montreal Canadiens - Never liked 'em. It goes back to the Roy years, and I've always hated him.
3. Dallas Stars
