Hey! Today sucked, too! First it was too early, then the rental car smelled like citrus concentrate, then I couldn't find the place. It was on Cindy Lane, only it didn't have an entrance on Cindy Lane, nor was it vsible from Cindy lane. Tried to call my contacts, but the dude who set it up put the wrong area code on the numbers. Finally I found the place hiding beihind the trees, went in, and couldn't do much. The OEM (original equipment manufacturer, the company that built the machine) couldn't send anyone, so I was trying to troubleshoot this tiny part of the machine without knowing what's going on on either side of my equipment. It took all day, but I was able to prove that it wasn't our products' fault. So now what? Now I wait until tomorrow to find out if they want me to come back and support ANOTHER COMPANY'S PART. Ugh. If I don't go there, my boss wants me to go to a customer in northern ALabama (Bridgeport) instead, only there aren't direct flights there from here, so what am I supposed to do? I don't think I can get there before 5pm and the last flight out is 5:30. Hmm, what's wrong with that picture. I'm going to see if I can push it off until Monday, only I have to fly to Rhode Island on Wednesday so that'll kill the whole week, pretty much. Man it sucks to be me sometimes.
