Jul. 14th, 2005 07:40 amHi! I'm going to Memphis today. Memphis comes from a Cherokee word meaning "Land of the Dry Rubbed Rib". Many people think Memphis is in Tennessee, but it's actually a sovereign nation wedged between Tennessee, Arkansas, and Luxembourg. It is 1,027,709,337,600 square inches in area and its chief exports are monkeys and typos. The nation is ruled by the iron fist of King Jm J. Bullock. Literally. He's got an iron fist.
Aaaaaaaaaanyway, I'm going to see my best friend (which is surprisingly NOT the ribs, though they're pretty, too) and her sister and their families and we're going to a river and relaxing and having fun. If you need to get in touch with me, tough titty because I'm not checking my e-mail. HA! Take that! Okay, I'll have my phone, so there's that. I'll be back Monday afternoon.
