Apr. 18th, 2005 12:56 pmI had an epiphany recently while listening to The Humpty Dance by Digital Underground. In a way, aren't we ALL a little like Humpty? Don't each and every one of us have a little bit of Humptacity in them? Should we ask ourselves "What Would Humpty Do?"

Apr. 18th, 2005 01:51 pmMy favorite TV shows (currently on the air):
You know, after the top five, it's all 'eh'. The top three are the ones I REALLY like.
I don't know what happened to past favorites like Queer Eye, Trading Spaces, Six Feet Under (though I'll eventually catch up on this one, i think), etc.
I FINALLY got around to watching the finale of NYPD Blue that laserkitty was so kind to record for me. It was a perfect ending to a great series. It went out very low-key.
- Arrested Development
- Deadwood (really 1a)
- Alias
- CSI
- Malcom in the Middle
- American Chopper, though it's usually in reruns.
- Law and Order (and/or SVU) reruns
- Whose Line reruns
- Family Guy and Futurama reruns
- Every third or so new Simpsons episode

Apr. 18th, 2005 02:27 pmIs The Hitchhiker's Guide to t he Galaxy movie just covering the first book, or do I have to read the rest of 'em, too? I just bought the "Ultimate" edition with all of the novels in it on Friday, and I'm about 1/2 through the first book. It reads really quickly. Also, I have bought all of the Sin City graphic novels. Also also, why didn't I flirt more with that girl at Borders who loved not only Sin City but also commented on the Cook's Illustrated that I bought? Also also also, I seemed to have stalled in my reading of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay, so I'll have to try it again at a later date. Also also also also, I'm getting dangerously close to another tattoo, which will probably be of the little red dude from the cover of Catch-22.

Apr. 18th, 2005 03:25 pmI just ordered DVR (Generic Tivo) for my cable. I figured that since this is the computer age and all, I'd order the service online. So I did. When you're done entering the information, you're taken to a online chat with an order entry person. Who enters all of the information again, apparently, since it took him 20 minutes to place my order. That's stupid, is alls I'm saying. But I'll have DVR on Friday morning.
