Hello, how are you? I am back in Chicago after two weeks in South Central Massachusetts for the new job. Today I am alone in the Chicago office. The VPN over our wireless LAN isn't working, so I can't check my work e-mail, so I'm going to go home and try it from there. I've done it before from Borders and such, so I don't know what the problem is. And now more about my week:

Friends
I was lucky enough to visit some friends during my trip. Last time I was there I met

serendipityjct, who is beautiful and sweet and secretly wants to make out with me. This trip I saw

jackmike and visited the Boston Science Museum (eh.) with him and had a few brewskis. I like Mike very much. He's good people. We made out. It was great. Then in back-to-back-to-back days, I saw

wicky for sushi,

rasa for non-sushi Japanese (, and

captn_midnight for Italian and a shark flick. Wicky was happy to get sushi and we had a lot of fun. She didn't bring the babies, though she did want to make out with me. Rasa tried to get her kitties out of hiding so I could love up on 'em, but they hate me. Clearly. But it was a great dinner and Ms. Kate is a good conversationalist wo has no desire whatsoever to make out with me. Ms. Midnight (Megan) is wonderful and cute and funny and quirky and everything I like in a girl, except that she's not living in Chicago and stuff like that. And while she doesn't want to make out with me, even secretly, she said she'd be on the lookout for a Chicago version of her that will make out with me, so that's good. It was very nice to meet her and hang out with her. I hope we can do it again sometime.

The Job
So far so good. Getting paid, learning a lot. They say lots of good things about me and make me feel like a very important piece to their business puzzle. So that's good.

Smoking
I really want a smoke right now. Left 'em at home, which is probably good.

Elsie Moo-Cow
Although excellent care was taken of her (thanks again again, Nancy!), Ms. Moo-Cow desired more attention and has been very snuggly over the weekend. It's very nice, except when it's not.

Green Bay
I'm going to Green Bay for business on Tuesday/Wednesday. I have to leave early on Wednesday so I can make it to my fantasy football draft.

Fantasy Football
Pleased with my Yahoo league draft. WRs are a little weak, but Manning as my QB with Tomlinson and Barlow as my RBs isn't bad. We'll see, I suppose. My Money League draft is the aforementioned one on Wednesday, so I'm preparing a lot.

Horny
Very much so.

Monkey Urine
Every morning I bathe in monkey urine. This gives me a pleasing scent and makes women desire me. I tell them "I am the love god Eros." They like this. "My spunk to you is like manna from heaven." None of that is true, of course (and in fact much of it is stolen from Being John Malkovich), but I figured that most people have been weeded out by boredom at this point.
