So I did the resignation thing. It was hard. My boss and I had a good talk and he put a lot of doubt in my head. He made me feel very important to the company. He really is a pretty good boss. So I told him I'd let him know on Monday. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to stick to my guns and move on. Change is good.
