Hats

So, let's say hypothetically that a large big-headded gentleman is thinking of getting a hat. Do you think that a narrow-brimmed hat (such as the porkpie shown below) would look good on this large fellow? It seems to me that it would, but it's hard to say for sure. I would think a wide-brimmed hat would just accentuate the largeness of the gentleman. Also, do you think that a dark brown would be the most versitile color (Not to mention that it would match his hypothetical eyes).

The gentleman would probably also look fine in a wider-brimmed fedora, but he thinks that the porkpie flavor better fits his... complete off-the-wall oddness.

If you're wondering what it would cost the gentleman for said hat, it would be $300-$350. It costs him $50-$70 more just due to the largeness of his head (he's a size 8-1/8, making his head a LOT larger than the average 7-3/8).

I had the weirdest sex dream about [livejournal.com profile] shawnwrites last night. Geeze, Shawn, get some Veet. I thought you were giving birth to a red-headed Gene Shalit.

CopRock!

Okay, I found out about 2 minutes ago that Trio Television is re-running some of the episodes of Cop Rock. I am serious when I say that I think Cop Rock was one of the best (and most misunderstood) shows ever to be broadcast on television (though I'm noticing some less-than-stellar lip syncing in this episode). Ahh! It's the pilot I'm watching! And it's running all month! I'm soooo geeked!

The bad part is that they're billing it as part of their "Flops" thing going on this month. The implication is that Flop=Bad, and in this case (going by my memory from when the show first aired in 1990) that is not correct.
