May. 11th, 2004 04:30 pmI love it when "they" complain of Kerry's wealth. Because Bush wasn't born with a silver spoon in his nose mouth, you know.
I love it when "they" complain of Kerry's military service, saying he's not a "real" hero. Because Bush's service in the National Guard was heroic and brave, while Kerry wasn't really THAT wounded in Vietnam for one of the Purple Hearts.
I love it that "they" say that it's okay to torture Iraqi prisoners, because (a) they're all Arab and even without a trial they're clearly terrorists (anyone who would dare fight the Americans must be terrorists, not merely soldiers) and (b) we're not as bad as Saddam (although Saddam wasn't really talking about liberation and freedom while he was being evil). No, really. We should be upset at the terrbile liberal anger that's making a big deal out of a little frat hazing instead of worshipping our brave men and women on the battlefield (although Kerry was on the battlefield for the US and he's a traitor and a coward, apparently).
I take some solace in the fact that one of the "they", a certain Ms. Ann Coulter, is agreed to be wacko by both liberals and conservatives. Although, most conservatives I know still think Rush makes sense...
