There have been new baaaaaabies added to the make-you-happy baby animal thread, if you haven't seen it recently. Included are a baby wombat that'll steal your heart, and some baby bats, and a baby possum, and esprix found the cutest baby flamingo, and...

Poooor Moo-Cow.

So, my poor kitty has an owie. She's got some sort of spot of ick on her chest. So I took her to the vet, who thought it was probably just a skin infection, either from an allergy or a scrape, and so she gave me some antibiotics to help. And now I have to wrestle my cat twice a day to shove a pill down her throat. I don't like it. :(

And SHE didn't like it when they took her temperature. She bit me, HARD! And then when the doc was shaving the area around the wound, she clipped her nipple. So it was NOT a good day for my kitty. Or my checkbook, but that's another story. I gave my kitty lots of love and skritches to try to make up for it. I think she's starting to forgive me.

I can't think of too many girls who, after having a thermometer jammed in their butt, their nipple cut, and something jammed down their throat, would forgive you with just some skritches and snuggling. That's all I'm saying.
