I think I'm on my fifth book for the year. I'm been lousy about keeping track. But I've read A History of the Blues by Francis Davis, Slapstick by Kurt Vonnegut, Vox by Nicholson Baker, The World According to Garp by John Irving, and now I'm working on Bloodsucking Fiends by Chris Moore.
Garp was a good book, so thank you to the John Irving fans for recommending it. I'll make sure to read some more Irving. The man sure writes long books, though. I had to read every chance I got in order to get it done in a week. Now I want to see the movie, because I don't see HOW it could be adapted.

One man's opinion.

I hate it when people slag non-documentary movies for being inaccurate. It's fiction. Yes, I know that Braveheart was totally inaccurate. Yes, I know that Elizabeth compressed 20 years worth of stuff into what seemed like six months. You know why they did it? So that the movie didn't suck.
Also, I appear to have damaged the feed on my Shaeffer Snorkel fountain pen. No real functional damage; it's mostly cosmetic. I probably banged the cap into it.
