Hello, people. We finally got some significant snow here in Chicago. A good six inches, maybe even a little more. Made for a long commute, but I'm still happy about it. For one thing, it made the cat snuggly (although the open window didn't hurt, I'm sure).

Exciting prospects. But perhaps I've said too much.

3. Old School - Bran Van 3000 - Wakes you up after the sleepy-time.


4. Somebody Loves You - Eels - Hey, stuff don't suck THAT bad! Buck up, little camper!

6. Walk This World - Heather Nova - Sexy. One of the sexiest songs I can think of.

10. Hot 'N Now - Mr. Rudy Day (get the mp3 here) Another local group that rocked my nads (those would be my GO nads) when I saw 'em. Self-referential fun.

Um, oops.

I just went a little crazy at the grocery store. A little crazy includes two whole chickens, four pot roasts, three pounds of ground beef, and a leg of lamb. A LEG OF LAMB. I've never cooked a leg of lamb. And a bunch of other stuff. Looks like I'mma have to start cooking more often. Pot roast tomorrow, brined chicken Wednesday, queso fundido on Thursday... Yummy!

Tonight, a Stoeffer's Mac & Cheese. I'm tired. But meat is yummy.
