Stuff.

• Last night was more baby animals on Animal Planet. I'm so glad I get this channel. Last night was a border collie (who had ELEVEN tiny pups) and an emporer penguin. While the puppies and chick were cute (actually, the puppies weren't really cute for a few weeks), they were not as cute as the BABY AARDVARK! Or a bloaty little baby hippo for that matter.


• California voters (as a single entity, not each-and-every voter) are a bunch of morons. How fucking stupid.


• In GOOD news, at least I won't have to put up with any more crappy Schwarzenegger films for a few years. I hope he appoints The Rock and Vin Diesel to his cabinet, as I'd like to be rid of those fucker, too.


• I love my iPod. Carnally. Through the headphone jack.


• Drinking in LA by Bran Van 3000 is SUCH a good song.


• I really need to start packing up the stuff in my apartment. ACK.


• Needed: People to help me move (it won't be that hard, I promise!) on 10/25. Very little big furniture. Mostly boxes.


• I'm really sick of snuggling a pillow at night.


• Sleepy. Note to self: less time dicking around with the iPod, more time sleeping.

I'm a WINNER!

I just won tickets to see Neko Case tomorrow night at The Field Museum for a special concert. I'm taking my friend Karen, since she took me to see a play at The Goodman Theater last week with tickets she won (we saw an Edward Albee play called The Goat, or: Who is Sylvia?, which I enjoyed a lot.

I also have tickets to see Ms. Case on Saturday at Schuba's. I just invited magdalene1 to go to that with me, and if she is not available I'll try to find someone else.

So, um, yay! I like Neko Case.

If I hear Rachel Ray's cute little giggle one more time, I think I'm going to come in my shorts.

Or I would if I were wearing clothes, at least.
