I had a chance to go to Toronto next week, but I don't have a copy of my birth certificate and my passport got stolen in July. Oh well, maybe next time.

By now I'm sure you've all heard the news of the sad celebrity death. Yes, Larry Hovis, who played Sgt. Andrew Carter on TV's Hogan's Heroes, has succumbed to cancer. Alas.

But I did get my copy of Mr. Show's Third Season on dvd today, so that's good.

Edited to add: And this book I'm reading, The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove by Chris Moore, is one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. Recommended! Add it to your wish list!
