A whole pile of boring.
Jul. 21st, 2003 10:17 amI read the quite short Mr. Wilson's Cabinet of Wonder over the weekend, in addition to finishing up the Tobias Wolff collection that I had started. So here's what I've read, if you want the recap. Next on the block is Word Freak, a book about competitive Scrabble™ players.
Weekend: Saw my new Chicago friends
Nancy and
Kyla (and
Paul was there, too) and went out for some very yummy (though not very speedy) Indian food. On Sunday, I slept most of the day (which of course made it impossible to sleep last night), and watched the last two Six Feet Under episodes of the season (finally) and the True Romance that I borrowed from a friend about a billion years ago.
Wednesday, I get to see Eels live in concert. To say that I am hyped about this would be quite an understatement. I haven't been to a "real" concert in ages. Two or three years, maybe? Anyway, I get to see Eels and I'm happy. You know who rules? Tonya's husband. Tonya, too.
That potential good news I talked about on Friday? it's still only potential good news. Nothing new to report on that front, except that we're a few days closer to the stabbing-in-the-eye-with-a-fork thing.
