Books and NYC
Jul. 1st, 2003 11:44 amFinished Post Office last night. Read the whole thing in one day, making 21 books and 4 drama for the first half of the year. That's 25. Which was my goal for the whole year. Hey, maybe I can read fifty books in a year.
Next up: Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut and/or Civilwarland in Bad Decline by George Saunders. I'm thinking the latter, since the short stories will be easier to read with the travel that I'm doing. But I'll be taking both with me.
Tomorrow at this time I'll be in Milwaukee's Billy Mitchell Field waiting for air transportation to LaGuardia. I'll be spending five days in NYC, seeing the sights and the beautiful beautiful people that inhabit the city. I plan on having all my fun for the year, so sorry to those who wanted to have fun with me later.
