• Lent: So far so good. No carbonated sugared beverages, no eBay bidding, no dvd buying. Guitar practice hasn't really started yet.


• Tributosaurus: May have made me a Steely Dan fan. Maybe I'm just a Tributosaurus fan. Want to see Brother Brother. Jeff Freling was at the show, so I shook his hand and told him that I loved his album. I wish I had said hi earlier, I would have bought him a beer. He's a nice guy. I also wish I would have shook Wes Cichsoz's (of the E-mics) hand, because I like his album, too. The E-mics are playing Wednesday 3-19 at The Lyon's Den. Who's in?

• Work: I'm actually working! A lot!


• Reading: The Sound and the Fury (almost typed "Furry"... That would have changed the book, huh?) is a slow read. Not any phonetical spellings of made-up words, just a constant changing of time and sentences that bleed into other sentences and what the hell is he talking about? and stuff like that. I'm determined to finish it. I'm not going to sleep tonight until I'm done with chapter 2 (of 3), which is a good 70 pages which is a lot more than you'd think. Might not be reading a lot more Faulkner.
