I honor of [livejournal.com profile] odieman's birthday, I'd like to list the TOP TEN PEOPLE BORN ON JUNE 21. But I did that last year. Oh well, happy birthday anyway.

For those that have my mix CD, I hope you're enjoying it! I'm making a cover for the CD this weekend so that it'll look like a real CD and stuff. I'll post an acrobat version of it and you can download it and print it out, so you'll have a cover and a playlist. Won't that be nice? I have the cover design all planned out, and it will rock. Or it will suck. One of those two. I also really need to put together some rough outlines for the next CDs in the JoeyBear line.

Last night was wonderful, mostly because I got to spend it with tonya and staci and paul. The E-mics were great. Very much not-at-all like The Ghettobillies, but I like 'em muchly. Melllllllow. They closed with my favorite song of theirs, Swedish Roulette. I bought their CD and have been listening to it all day. It's very good. I'm enjoying it muchly. 'Specially Swedish Roulette which just came on so I'm going to type it into the "current music" box now. :) I wish the keyboard/accordian player was on the album because (a) she's cute, (b) she sings good back up that is missing on some of the album tracks, and (c) I like accordians.

After the E-mics, the Ghettobillies came on and rocked the otherfucking hizzouse. They played mostly stuff that I don't have, which is saying something because I have their most recent CD and their most recent EP and everything that's available on their website. They finished with Jiggle Low and One of Us, just like they did the last two times I saw them, so I was happy. 'Specially with Jiggle Low because it makes me shake my booty to the ground. I wish I had more of thier stuff. I wish Tonya would get me soundboard recordings of their live shows. I wish they'd played a full set.

Lots of good conversation. A lot of conversation about ME, which is one of those topics that isn't my favorite to talk about, but I thought I handled it well. I took it to heart and will think about it even more over the weekend.

Oops, I just accidentally skipped back to Swedish Roulette again. I guess I'll jut have to listen to it again.

Swedish Roulette, I'll soon forget,
Your middle name and your address.
You knew before I'd head for the door,
So don't you come cryin' cause I wasn't lyin'.
So don't you come cryin' to me.
