Spider-Man: 3 stars out of 4

So, I saw Spider-Man today. It was what it was. It was a fine little popcorn flick. In other words, if you want to sit there and eat popcorn and not think, then this is a fine film to choose. It's got decent acting, decent story, decent effects, a few laughs, etc. I liked the soundtrack, which is not surprising since it's by Danny Elfman. I liked the casting of Maguire and Dunst, since they're not typical heart-throb material, but rather tangential heart-throbs, ifyouknowwhatimean. Some of the special effects of Spidey flying through the streets were kinda video-gamish. There were LOTS of melodramatic moments. And, of course, the fight scenes were rather typical and predictable.

I can say this for sure, though: It's the best "Macho Man" Randy Savage movie EVER.

Ten random complaints about pitiful little things.

1. I slept on the couch on Friday and Saturday nights (for no reason whatsoever) and now my neck hurts.
   
2. The internet is BORING. I think I've read it all.
   
3. I'm waiting for an e-mail from this girl I e-mail back-and-forth with, but she's not writing back fast enough to suit me.
   
4. I forgot my case of CDs this morning, so I'm stuck with the same old MP3's.
   
5. I still don't know where my motherfucking remote control is.
   
6. I have an ass-load of laundry to do tonight.
   
7. I missed Six Feet Under last night, so I have to watch it tonight.
   
8. Clare (the girl I sent daisies to for St. Pat's Day) is very busy and so we can't do anything. She's going to try to schedule me in for lunch someday soon.
   
9. I missed a spot shaving last night. It's probably hardly noticible, but it's bothering the piss out of me.
   
10. My boss keeps walking by, forcing me to minimize my important stuff and make it look like I am working.

In good news, I've added soda and calisteph6 (VenusGirlTrap on the boards) to my friends list. I gave them each a LJ code, so I feel that gives me permission to spy on their lives. They're also both pretty young women, so that's an added bonus for me. Yay for them!
