Feb. 5th, 2002 11:04 amYou've probably seen those commercials where the guy comes down the stairs in his very hot apartment, past his panting bulldog, and goes to the freezer. In the freezer he finds some frozen-solid boxer shorts. He does a little dance and puts the boxer shorts on, pulling them up with a yelp. The announcer comes on and says "Sierra Mist: Yeah, it's kinda like that".

Three things bother me about that ad:
- Bulldogs have problems with heat and would be likey to die in an apartment that's as hot as the one in the commercial pretends to be.
- That boy can't dance.
- Most importantly, if there were truth in advertising, the commercial would go like this: Boy goes to the fridge, pulls out a Sierra Mist, and takes a sip. He looks unimpressed. The voiceover guy says "Sierra Mist: Yeah, it's kinda like Sprite."
