I like sample bands. What I mean by sample bands are people who take samples of whatever and put them to a funky beat. They're a lot of fun. Here are my four favorite (the only four I really know):

1. Fat Boy Slim - Easily the most recognizable of these bands. Very upbeat, very dancy. My favorites (go download 'em!) are Gangster Tripping and Right Here, Right Now.
   
2. The Propellerheads - Somewhat less dancy, but they have some fun songs. My favorites (go download 'em!) are Velvet Pants and Take California (currently on the iPod commercial).
   
3. Tipsy - I don't even know if they con be considered a sample band by my definition, but I still think they're great. VERY loungy, which I love. My favorites (go download 'em!) are El Bombo Atomico and Space Golf.
   
4. The Avalanches - I just "discovered" them a couple of weeks ago. Popular in Australia for a while, apparently, but just now starting to be heard in the USA. My favorite (go download it!) is Frontier Psychiatrist.

Also, I've become very bored with the internet lately, but that has been cured now that I have found a couple of sites that catalog other interesting stuff that kills a few minutes of time at a pop. I started with hamadryad's blog page which led me to the great site fark.com. Links to all sorts of odd stories and things.

Found on hamadryad's site: Kevin Smith's graphical novel telling the story of his first kiss with his wife. It's hilarious.

Hopefully tonight I'll feel more ambitious and I'll do a couple of updates I've been meaning to do. I want to update us on the casting of my movie (keep the suggestions coming!) I'm also going to make a list of my favorite Palm applications (all games, probably).

I just got a single-serving chocolate pudding out of the vending machine. It cost me $0.60.

But what I really want is $240 worth of pudding.

Awwwwwwwww, yeah.
