I bet some daisies might chear you up.

The Eels concert was spectacular and I loved it to death. They played for close to three hours, including three encores. Most of my favorite songs got played. The songs were quite different from the albums: Novocaine was sped up and played like it was a Weezer song, the normally-mellow I Like Birds was almost punk in it's performance, and the upbeat Last Stop: This Town was played slow and sweet. They did a kick-ass cover of Sixteen Tons and just generally rocked my world. I am a fan. I bought two live albums, and I stole a concert poster off the walls. And a good time was had by all.

Tonight, I get blonde highlights put in my hair.

I saw Eels a few years ago. Actually, it was just E doing a solo acoustic set. He joked that the rest of the group had been killed when the bus crashed a few hours before the show. He ended that show with the ONLY decent version of "Sweet Home Alabama" that I've ever heard. It was great because he wasmaking fun of the song, and I HATE THAT FREAKIN' SONG!!!

Glad you had a good time.
