I recently discovered the band Slade. I like them.

Yes, I recently discovered a band from the 70's. I'm nothing if not slow to the party.

Things I didn't know until today: Creed Bratton (who plays Creed on The Office) was a bona fide rock star in the 60's, playing lead guitar for The Grass Roots, who actually sang songs that I know (though I wouldn't have been able to tell you who did 'em). Behind the cut is some vintage footage from YouTube. He's the one standing next to the drummer in his stripey shirt.
