i haven't been feeling "right" lately. This is the earliest I've been up in almost a week.

Looks like I'm going to Green Bay Thursday/Friday. I haven't been there in ages.

Major concerts I have been to:
  • Harry Connick Jr. (twice, once swing and once funk)

  • Weird Al Yankovic (twice)

  • Bobby McFerrin with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (twice)

  • They Might Be Giants

  • Crash Test Dummies/Elvis Costello (I left shortly after Mr. Costello came onstage).

  • The Lollapalooza with The Breeders and the Beastie Boys, though I left early when my date got alcolhol poisoning and ended up in the ER.

  • A festival concert in St. Louis that had Ben Folds Five playing on the "Second stage" which was just a bunch of plywood risers. The Ramones and TMBG were also there.

  • Diana Krall (twice) (the first time she walked within two feet of me. She smelled good.)

  • Eels

  • Ween

  • Penn & Teller, if that's a concert

  • Steely Dan (the biggest one I've ever been to, I think)

  • Tori Amos (won them on the radio)

  • Liz Phair (just before she blew up big)

That's all I can think of. I don't care for crowds.

My top six are, in order, Ween, McFerrin 1, Phair, Eels, Krall 1, Weird Al 1.

I saw Shaun of the Dead the other day, and I really wasn't that impressed. It was good enough, I suppose, but I can't say I'd want to own it (and I but everything).

Napolean Dynamite comes this week. We'll see how it stands up. Also, I might go see "Sin City" tonight. And maybe something else, too.
