Pursuant to the lack of knowledge among my friends list, look for a Neko Case Primer on Monday. You will learn a little about her and hear some songs and you will be a fan because if you're not then you suck.

I'm diggin the New Pornographers, but Neko Case sounds a little more country than I expected. Did I just get a particularly twangy selection of her music, or is that what she's about? I love her voice.

She's alt-country. Think of it as the grunge side of country. Rock with a country oomf.

Her solo stuff is definately not The New Pornographers.
