Floobity.
My favorite blog? Fuck You, Penguin. Man, it makes me laugh every time. The author is one funny motherfucker.
I've been "reading" audiobooks lately. I've listened to the first three books of Terry Prachett's "The Watch" Discworld series. They're good, just as I was promised. I think
teehmar gave me Men At Arms almost ten years ago and told me I'd like it. Right now, I am mostly finished with Malcolm Gladwell's Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking, which I am finding very interesting. I was expecting it to be more of a "how-to" book, but all it really teaches is "Trust your gut, usually". At any rate, it's very interesting.
Books I have bought at Audible but not listened to:
Speaker for the Dead
Thunderstruck
Dune
The Zombie Survival Guide
The Pillars of the Earth
Born Standing Up - Steve Martin
A Short History of Nearly Everything
Slaughterhouse-Five (Though I have read this)
Running with Scissors
The Abortionist's Daughter
The Blind Assassin
Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates
Uncle Tom's Cabin
The Scarlet Letter
Eight Men Out
Life of Pi
Books I have listened to (* means a favorite):
Feet of Clay: Discworld #19
Men at Arms: Discworld #15
Guards! Guards!: Discworld #8
*Fool (Christopher Moore)
Animal Farm
What Do You Care What Other People Think? (Feynman)
*The Pleasure of Finding Things Out (Feynman)
World War Z
Blink (Malcolm Gladwell)
The Stupidest Angel (Christopher Moore)
The Audacity of Hope (Barack Obama)
*A Dirty Job (Christopher Moore)
The Professor and the Madman
*Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! (Feynman)
A Man Without a Country (Vonnegut)
*Kitchen Confidential
Around the World in 80 Days (Michael Palin travel book)
*Assassination Vacation
Angels and Demons
*The Partly Cloudy Patriot
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
*Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim
*Memoirs of a Geisha
Middlesex
The DaVinci Code
Bagombo Snuff Box (Vonnegut)
Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them
*Ender's Game (listened to it twice, actually. I wish the author wasn't a nutball.)
