Ah, the joys of travel. This week is going to, as the Aztecs say, suck maize. In about 2.5 hours I head towards O'Hare to fly to Chattanooga TN, birthplace of acting luminaries Samuel L. Jackson and Hugh Beaumont. Tomorrow morning I drive down to Northern Alabama (my first trip ever to the state) to work on fabric winding machine. It'd better go quick because either way I'm flying home Monday night. Tuesday evening I fly to Rhode Island, where I am until Friday morning. So in six days, I'll be sleeping in my own bed once, in the air on four days, and on the road for all six. At least I'll come home to a long weekend.

It's going to suck, but I know that i'll have you, my friends, to constantly comment and e-mail me and love me from afar. So I've got that going for me.

Granted, I haven't seen much of it, but what I've seen of Chattanooga is a cute little town. The area downtown where I'm staying is really neat. There's an aquarium across the street, and Imax theater across the street, lots of restaurants and such. Too bad I'm only here overnight, sorta.

The airport is tiny. There are only four airlines and five terminals (two for Delta, one American, one US Air, and one Northwest, with Continental adding flights soon). It was cute.
